Activate promotional messaging

Promote your sales by displaying the promotional message on your product page or/and cart section. It will be automatically displayed in the language of your website.

1. Activate promotional messaging
You can show the price per month of your products on your product pages and/or on your cart section.
To enable the messaging, tick “Yes”

2. Display the price per month including a fee
If you wish to include a fee in the price per month, enter the percentage commission you want to charge to the customer in this field.

Please note that this will not impact the price at checkout and you need add your own extra fee to actually charge your customers.
To charge a fee to your customers at checkout you need to buy an add-on from Prestashop, eg:

Once installed, go to the settings of the add-on and enter the % you want to charge to the customer. This will add a few to the customer at checkout.

Please make sure you **enter the same fee % in the "Payment with fee" add-on as you entered in the "Promotional Messaging Settings" section of the HeidiPay module, otherwise the price per month shown on the product pages will not be the same as at checkout!

3. Set promotional messaging preferences
Verify that the information in the rest of the section matches your preferences, or amend them accordingly

• Select the number of instalments you are offering to your clients. The highest number of instalments will be displayed in the promotional message.
• Enter the minimum order amount if you want to show the promotional message above a certain amount product/order amount only (e.g. Product price/order amount of CHF 100.00)
• Enter the minimum instalment amount if you want to show the promotional message above a certain instalment amount only (e.g. CHF 10.00 per month)

You are only allowed to recharge the HeidiPay fees to your customers if you are offering not offering more than 4 instalments (Pay in 3x and Pay in 4x only) to your customer. If you offering more instalments (Pay in 6x - Pay in 24x), you cannot recharge the fees to your customers.
