Recharging fees to customers
You can recharge the HeidiPay fees to your customers if you offer max 4 instalments to your customers. For longer plan durations you are not allowed to recharge fees to customers under Swiss law).
If you don't want to recharge the fees to your customers, go to to Instructions on how to test & go live
If you want to recharge the fees to your customers, you need to:
- Enter the fee in the settings of the HeidiPay plugin - this will adjust the price per month on the product/cart pages including the fee
- Buy a WooCommerce add-on that will allow you to add the fee at checkout
Display the price per month including a fee

Navigate to “Plugins” in the Wordpress admin portal and click on "Installed Plugins"

Scroll down to find the HeidiPay Payment plugin and click on “Settings”

In the Settings scroll down to "Promotional messaging settings"

Calculate price per month adding a fee: Enter the % you want to recharge the customer (for 2%, enter 2)
Please note that this will not impact the price at checkout and you need to buy add-on from WooCommerce that allows you to add a fee at checkout to any desired payment method.
To charge a fee to your customers at checkout you need to buy an add-on from WooCommerce, eg:
Buy the "dynamic pricing plugin for WooCommerce"
- Buy and upload the dynamic pricing plugin for WooCommerce (or any other plugin that allows you to add a fee at checkout): https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-dynamic-pricing-per-payment-method-for-woocommerce/
- In the settings of the plugin select "Increase by percentage" for HeidiPay and enter the same percentage as entered in the previous step in the HeidiPay settings. This will add the fee at checkout.
Please make sure you enter the same % in the dynamic pricing plugin as in the HeidiPay module, otherwise the price per month shown on the product pages will not be the same as at checkout!
